Watch as Parents Magazine shows you healthy dinner recipes during pregnancy! Knowing what to eat during pregnancy, especially for dinner, can greatly improve how you feel in the morning. Eating too much contributes to worsened heartburn and morning sickness. Have a smaller dinner, eat slowly, and sit rather than lie down after the meal. These healthy dinner recipes are around 500 calories each. For sirloin tofu stir-fry, saute three ounces of sirloin in two teaspoons of olive oil. Stir in 1/4 cup of tofu, a cup of broccoli, carrots, onion, and garlic. Serve with a cup of cooked wild rice. For chicken pasta with mozzarella and vegetables, cook three ounces of skinless chicken breast. Combine this with a cup of sauteed tomatoes, peppers, olive oil, and a cup of whole wheat pasta. Top this with an ounce of mozzarella cheese. Fill a whole wheat flour tortilla with 1/2 cup of lentils and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese for the lentil and cheese wrap. Add a colorful salad with lots of veggies and two tablespoons of salad dressing for a healthy dinner and some greens. These easy, healthy meals are perfect for keeping you and baby happy before bed. The key to a healthy pregnancy is smart food choices!
