Before a workout I like having some sparkling water and I probably go through four of these bottles a day.
For a post workout snack I’m having whole grain toast with peanut butter, banana and hemp hearts. For Baby E, he’s having some ricotta and berries and pieces of toast with peanut butter and hemp hearts.
Time for coffee, of course and I this is when I take my daily probiotic.
For breakfast, I’m having a veggie and cheese frittata and Baby E is having some too.
For a snack, I’m having some granola bar scraps that we made for the blog.
For my and Baby E’s lunch, we’re having cod and veggies with a romesco sauce.
For an afternoon snack, I’m putting together a trail mix with all the random snacks I have in my pantry (see the links above to get these snacks).
For dinner, I’m pulling together odds and ends from the fridge. We made a big Mexican pasta casserole for recipe testing, so that’s dinner for me!
If you guys hadn’t noticed, I served my son dessert at the same time with the rest of his meal. I do this to remove the novelty factor around sweet foods and desserts. By serving both at the same time, he learns to regulate his appetite so that he’s not eating to satiety with his main course and then eating past his satiety when it’s dessert time.
Last treat of the night is strawberry rhubarb gelato and I topped it off with some almonds.
Before bed, I take omega-3s, vitamin E for fertility purposes, prenatal multivitamin and vitamin D3 for fertility purposes.
