3 Lunch or Dinner Options That are Healthier than Fast Food and That I have Used
Lets face it, it takes a lot of planning to prepare the healthiest meals. So what happens when life creeps up on you and you have to grab something quick? Here are 3 options that are healthier than fast food and that I have used.
1. Steamed Bourbon Salmon – Check the grocery stores in your area to see if they will steam foods that you purchase in their store. In my area, Publix and Whole Foods will steam certain foods. One of those is Fresh Bourbon Salmon..
2. Rotisserie Chicken- This is another grocery store find. Check to see if your local store prepares Rotisserie Chicken.
3. Chicken Salad- We like to keep canned white premium chunk Chicken Breast on hand for easy lunch or dinner options. Add in some Olive oil mayo, grapes, nuts, and whatever else your little heart desires for chicken salad and you will have yourself a healthier option than what you might find at the average fast food drive thru.
What about sides, you may ask? Grab some Uncle Bens Ready Rice that cooks in 90 seconds and microwavable steamed broccoli or other green vegetables and you are set.
Although these options may not be the healthiest choices, the objective is to give you options for healthier choices than fast food.
